Bérénice is a New York based Actor and Filmmaker. A graduate of the Maggie Flanigan Studio, Bérénice has also completed two Certificate programs at UCLA Extension. Her goal and mission is to help bring stories to life that can help make a difference, through the beautiful and challenging art of filmmaking.
Bérénice makes her directorial debut in her first short film “Promise Me”, a multi-award nominated short, which she wrote, produced, and starred in. Her second short "Cupcakes" is in the final stages of post-production and will be making a festival run in 2024/2025. She also has various projects in development. Background Bérénice, sometimes nicknamed "JD", was born and raised in Haiti for 14 years and speaks 4 languages, 3 of them fluently, while learning a 5th. Her family first settled in Connecticut upon moving to the United States. She now resides in New York City.
